ENAM is the most prestigious professional school in Cameroon. Founded in 1959 and directly under the Presidency of the Republic, it trains the administrative, judicial and diplomatic elite of the country. Graduating from ENAM guarantees a career in top positions in the Cameroonian civil service: prefects, magistrates, diplomats, Treasury and Tax inspectors.

Admission is through a highly competitive entrance exam held every year, accepting candidates at Baccalaureate and Degree levels across multiple training cycles.

Attached to the University of Yaounde I, ENSP is Cameroon's leading engineering school. It trains design engineers in civil engineering, computer science, telecommunications, industrial chemistry and mechanical engineering. Students follow a 5-year program after the scientific Baccalaureate, with intensive company internships from the third year onward.

ENS Yaounde is the reference school for training secondary school teachers in Cameroon. Entry is by competitive exam at BAC or Degree level, with a maximum age of 32 years.

ENSPT trains engineers and technicians specialized in posts, telecommunications and digital technologies. Programs range from technician-level to a Master's in telecommunications engineering.

ENSTP is the nursery of engineers and technicians who build Cameroon's infrastructure — roads, bridges, public buildings and water networks. Under the Ministry of Public Works, its graduates integrate major construction companies and the public administration directly upon graduation, with hands-on training on real infrastructure projects across the country.

IFORD is a unique sub-regional institution in Africa specialized in demography and population statistics. Based in Yaounde and attached to the University of Yaounde II, it attracts students from across Francophone Africa for its Master's programs in demography, social statistics and population data analysis. Graduates work for the UN, government ministries and research bureaus.

INJS is the leading school for training youth, sports and socio-cultural animation officers in Cameroon. Under the Ministry of Youth and Civic Education (MINJEC), it trains physical education teachers (EPS), youth animators and social affairs advisors who integrate secondary schools and state structures. Annual competitive entrance exams are open to all BAC holders.

EAMAU is a premier pan-African institution based in Yaounde, dedicated to training architects and urban planners for the entire African continent. Founded under the aegis of several member states, it welcomes students from over 40 African countries for high-level programs in architecture, urban planning and habitat. Graduating from EAMAU opens a pan-African career in architecture and territorial development.
